Bouxes [bow•kuh•siz] are feline-like creatures that live in hot climates and photosynthesize for energy. They average 124 cm in adults and 64cm in their young. In their main habitats they have created whole underground systems reaching a few dozen acres to keep cool when they aren't photosynthesizing. They are very clingy and always need attention which leads them to have very bad separation anxiety with their families and children. Since they are very antisocial they don't specifically enjoy being around other species and much prefer being in the comfort of their own kind. The unique trait of this species is the large boxes which replace their heads. When they reach a certain age a symbol that relates to their passion/personality appears on the front of the box. Bouxes are born with these boxes on their heads, meaning they have no face. Since they have no face Bouxes are completely blind and hugely rely on their other senses such as smell, touch and hearing.
